These historic waterways run right through and even under the city and add a special charm to the downtown area. From April 1 to October 31, you can board with the volunteer boat guides from 'Kringvrienden' and sail you along on their route. They will tell you about the history of the city, the old fortifications and the creations of Hieronymus Bosch that you may encounter scattered along the route. Even outside the boating season, the Binnendieze remains a special place. Stroll through the cozy streets and see the Binnendieze running under the city in surprising places.
